What we collect, why, and how to have it deleted. Last updated 6 October 2026.
Who we are
Live Roads (liveroads.co.uk) is run by Roadscore. For anything about your data, write to [email protected].
Reading the site
No account, no advertising cookies, no tracking across sites. We count visits ourselves: the page, the site that sent you, the kind of device and the country. Your IP address is never stored; it is mixed with a value that changes every day and turned into a code that cannot be reversed or followed from one day to the next.
The morning email
If you sign up we keep your email address, the roads and areas you chose, how often you want the email, and when it was last sent. We use them only to send that email. Nothing is sent until you confirm your address with the link we email you, and an address that is never confirmed is deleted after 30 days. The legal basis is your consent.
Who else handles it
Emails are sent through Resend, and the site and its database run on Railway. Both may process data outside the UK, under their own data protection terms. We never sell or share your address with anyone else.
Stopping and deleting
Every email has an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing deletes your address and preferences at once; we keep no list of people who left. You can also ask us to delete or show you what we hold by writing to the address above, and you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
